Falling For Her – A Poem by Ian Lepkowsky

Falling For Her

Rain is falling from above
First it touches her silky blonde hair
She barely notices
The drops roll gently downwards
They burst in little splashes upon her delicate skin
It is cool and refreshing
It’s been a long time since she’s felt that
She misses it
She looks up towards the heavens
The drops continue to fall
They push softly against her pursed lips
It tickles
She laughs
She opens her mouth slowly
The drops caress her tongue smoothly
She smiles
She is aroused
The rain starts to pick up
The rhythm is fast
She tries to keep up but…
It’s completely random
She’s not used to the unpredictability
She can’t control it but…
She’s willing to let it control her
It’s everywhere now
The water envelops her entire body
Her vision is slightly blurred
She can only focus on the drops
She doesn’t care
She knows they are falling for her
